A small Charles 1 oak coffer. The three panel moulded lid retaining it's original hinges opening to reveal an interior with candlebox and original floor. The frieze, carved with lunettes, having the original centre lockplate. Twin front panels with centre carved rosette. The coffer stands on lovely tall wide stiles.Great colour and patina and only 37 ins wide. English Circa 1645.
