An elegant 18th century kingwood ladies writing table, the top edged with brass with pierced gallery and leather inset, above four drawers (top one fitted with inkwells) that are crossbanded in tulipwood and inlaid with flowers. The table stands on finely shaped cabriole legs with ormolu sabots on the feet. The sides and back have fine quality marquetry decoration and the table is freestanding . Fine colour and condition, there is a circular mark on the leather inset. English Circa 1790, a top quality table.
