Georgian elm dresser base.

A  large Welsh Geo III elm dresser base, the top with cleated front edge and sides. Four drawers above a straight frieze, three square front legs the centre one of which has chamfered sides down to a potboard and short feet. Unusual to be all in elm and a fine colour, in good condition throughout , the handles are old but are replacements. A useful piece of furniture, ideal for a hall or to serve from. Radnorshire, Wales circa 1780.
