A fine quality late 19th century French ormolu fire/spark guard in the Rococo style.The shaped top with central laurel leaf handle and ribbon decoration , above a mesh panel with centre mask, the base with shaped legs and hoof feet. A good size with well chased ormolu decoration. French Circa 1890.
