A late Georgian elm country armchair. The roll over top rail with carved decoration, swept arms with scroll ends with turned supports above a thick circular seat. Bobbin turned front leg and square chamfered back ones united by turned stretchers. A quaint chair with rich colour and patina, unfortunately there is one turned support missing on the right hand side, the chair is firm with a seat height of 17 ins. Welsh Circa 1830.
