A late Georgian lignum and mahogany revolving egg cruet. The detacheable salt cellar with finial on top of the lid , above a circular dish topped revolving mahogany tray with six egg ups, supported by a turned stem with circular turned base. Everything is made in lignum bar the tray which is mahogany, there are chips to the bases of 2 egg ups and the circular base has an old repair(see photos) otherwise a lovely piece of treen that would have stood in the middle of a breakfast table.English Circa 1830.
