Georgian mahogany writing chair.

A large Geo III mahogany writing chair , the shaped top rail above a centre pierced carved splat, extravagantly shaped arms above a drop in seat, square legs united by plain  stretchers. A good bold chair with some Chippendale influence and exceptional arms, very comfortable and in good original condition throughout. The width is measured to the outside of the arms , the seat is 24 ins wide and 18.5 ins high. English Circa 1780.
