A Welsh oak coffer bach, the lid with moulded edge above three shaped raised panels, there is then a single drawer above a plinth with shaped bracket feet. The lid is original but over the years has had the hinges changed twice, they are now back to their original position(see photos). Good honey colour with fine patina. Merionethshire /Cardiganshire Circa 1780.
