A fine quality 19th century burr walnut writing table,the kingwood crossbanded top having panels profusely inlaid with flowers.The table standing on cabriole legs with fine ormolu mounts,the single drawer bearing the label T Filmer and Sons,34 Berner St,London.English Circa 1840.

Filmer and Sons were exceptional cabinet makers from 1830-1870,they have a teapoy on exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
