Code: 10929
Dimensions:
A carved mahogany tilt top tripod table. The top with pierced carved edge and dish centre is incredibly carved out of one piece of mahogany and is supported by a turned fluted stem above a three splay base. The knees and feet of the legs have the same carving as the top, the catch on the top is an old replacement and you can see the marks where the old one was. The table bears an old label of WF Greenwood ofYork and Harrogate who were established in the nineteenth century. There is a possibility that the table could be colonial so could be anywhere from 1780-1840 in date, it is in fine original condition bar the catch mentioned above.
