An unusual early 18th century Welsh oak lambing or nursing chair.The shaped top rail above a fielded panel back,wooden seat above a base with side drawer,shaped frieze,standing on cabriole front legs and square back ones.The chair is from Tremeirchion in Denbighshire,originally on the owner's family farm,has not been on the market for at least 110 years.Fine colour and patina and in  original condition .Welsh Circa 1730,seat height 14ins.
