An early 19th century maritime painting,oil on panel in giltwood frame , by Thomas Binks (1799-1852). The subject being the "Hull Roads" with a nice mix of sail and early steam ships and is signed and dated Thomas Binks 1827. Binks also has paintings in the Ferens Art Gallery , Hull and the Royal Maritime in Greenwich. In lovely condition throughout. The panel size is 23x16 ins.
