A 19 th century serpentine mahogany chest of drawers. The crossbanded top with boxwood stringing above four graduated drawers , the fluted side columns with inlaid shells at the top, the base with shaped frieze front and sides. The chest has several characteristics that suggest it may be American Colonial , one of which are the poplar lined drawers. Good colour and patina. American of English Circa 1830.
