A William IV mahogany library chair, show wood top rail with scroll ends, good sloping arms with fine carved uprights above a moulded frieze, carved turned front legs and shaped plain rear ones, original engraved brass castors. A great shape with a good rake to the back and very comfortable to sit in . The seat height including the cushion is 19 ins as is the depth so it could also be used as a writing chair. Good colour and condition. English Circa 1830.
